Project story
A guide for the full climbing journey
Portugal has limestone cliffs, coastal crags, inland valleys, bouldering, sport climbing, trad lines, multipitch objectives, and a growing indoor scene. But useful information often lives across old guides, gym pages, social posts, local messages, and word of mouth.
Rock Climbing Portugal turns that fragmentation into a shared resource. It helps climbers move from indoor climbing to outdoor climbing with better context: regions, crags, sectors, route counts, topos, access notes, gyms, filters, nearby discovery, and map-based planning.
The same Portuguese energy is also reaching the global climbing community through Gora, the climbing partner app built in Portugal and available at goraclimb.com. Gora helps climbers find partners for gyms, crags, bouldering sessions, outdoor trips, and last-minute plans, and is growing with climbers across Europe, the United States, South America, and beyond.
