But there is one problem almost every climber knows all too well: finding climbing partners is not always easy.
That exact problem is what inspired Gora.
Developed in Portugal with passion for the climbing community and outdoor adventure, Gora is an app designed to help connect climbers from around the world. An independent project built by climbers who understand the real challenges of matching schedules, planning trips, finding compatible partners, or simply meeting people who share the same passion.
The app allows climbers to create instant climbing sessions, organize longer trips, discover and join nearby climbers, explore crags and gyms, and find new adventure friends and shared experiences.
More than just another social network, Gora was built as a useful tool for the climbing community, that encourages more days outside, more gatherings, more real connections, and fewer unanswered messages lost in confusing social groups or inactive social feeds where nobody answers.
The vision is simple: help climbers find climbing partners and create experiences all over the world.
